| Since many years Filippo Gambetta provides lessons on the diatonic accordion, both on the G/C system and the Irish system in B/C.
Through courses and workshops, a lot of basic technical aspects are treated. Here are the main subjects usually tackled:
- Technique (exercises on major and minor keys, stave and tablature reading, finger training etc) |
 |
- Phrasing and interpretation while performing specific traditional repertoires, with a focus on traditional irish music
- Accompanyment and rhythmical aspects (rhythmical patterns on the right hand, polirhythmic exercices on both hands)
- Use of the bellows and of the air button; how to obtain a proper sound through the correct use of the bellows and to optimize the use of the air button
- Expression (approach to all the possible expressive dynamics and sensitization to the search of a diversification in the exposure of the musical phrases)
- ABC of the European bal folk repertoire for G/C diatonic accordion (chosen tunes)
- G/C Diatonic accordion group music: experience different ways to play with others based on mutual listening and on the development of musical dialogues.
